As a way to honor my family heritage and last name, this series of bears explores the character and uniqueness the large wild animal can display. Despite the thick fur and feasome maul, facial expressions do peak through and show the raw emotion of these forest creatures. Capturing that in these paints has been an interesting challenge and a joy to explore.
